• The XWF released the following:
  
  XWF NETWORK TAKES FIRST STEP IN INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION; SHOWS TO AIR IN PUERTO RICO STARTING SATURDAY, AUGUST 3
  
  Tampa, FL-July 24, 2002 XWF Network, LLC formed recently to promote worldwide wrestling ventures, is proud to announce that wrestling fans will be able to view the highly anticipated "XWF- In Your Face" television programs taped at Universal Studio's in Orlando, FL.
  
  "The XWF Network is happy to announce that beginning on Saturday, August 3, 2002 and running for five consecutive Saturdays "XWF-In Your Face" will air on WAPA-Canal 4 in Puerto Rico at 1 pm.," said John Flood, XWF Network President. "We are thrilled that wrestling fans will be able to see our product. This is just the beginning of a strategic marketing decision to air the XWF product around the world before it is brought back to the U.S."
  
  The marketing plan was developed after taking into account the cyclical decline of pro wrestling in the United States and the soft advertising market due to current economic woes.
  
  After Puerto Rico, the XWF Network plans to work with other overseas promoters to air its television "miniseries" in different areas around the world in conjunction with International Tours.
  
  "Just as Baywatch did, we intend to create a buzz around the world that will open up the eyes of the fans and advertising executives in the United States," adds Flood. "We are committed long term to the belief that there is a market for our concept of fun, fast paced, family-oriented entertainment that everyone can enjoy."
  
  "XWF-In Your Face" will air after the World Wrestling Council television show on Saturdays. "The XWF Network is excited to be working in conjunction with WWC with its rich history and tradition." said Flood. "We look at this as the first step in our Worldwide Invasion."
