Report by Stephen B. Report by Kevin Campagna, Carlo Orlando and Ben Badenoch Christian/Lance Storm defeated Hardcore Holly and Val Venis. Val was really ripping into Canada, calling us Communists and insulting our system. Funny how he's from Toronto. Lance/Christian were very patriotic to Canada, with Lance making mention to how Sarnia is his hometown. Match went back and forth with I believe Val getting superkicked by Lance for the pin. They held up a team Canada jersey a fan in the front row brought. Jamie Noble beat Kidman. Can't remember the finish to this match because it was pretty good. Noble is an awesome wrestler, looked amazing. Nidia actually looked excellent in person. Crowd was really into this one for most of it. Guererro/Benoit defeated the Dudleyz. Hilarious moment in this match as someone close to me yelled out "Check Eddie's papers, he's an illegal immigrant" and Eddie yells back "I'm NO WET BACK!" The wrestlers really had some nice interaction with the crowd. The place was about half capacity, but it was still excellent. Match was almost all Bubba fighting while Eddie/Benoit carried an even load. Match ends with Spike tapping to the crossface. Big Show defeated Booker T. VERY short match here, maybe 6-7 minutes as Booker T hits the scissors kick+spinaroonie (damn camera gave out on me) but Show caught him with a chokeslam to win the match. Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Tajiri. EXCELLENT match, real show stealer as Tajiri got the tarantula, and missed his lethal kick. Rey rey looked pretty good despite his new bulkier appearance. He was still able to hit his finisher to win the match. Edge defeated Test. Test looked really good actually, but the crowd wouldn't get behind him for a second as Edge also put on a great showing, as he ended it with the Impaler. Hardyz defeated Regal/Nowinski. Everyone was pulling for the Hardyz here (except the three of us) as Regal/Nowinski really dominated the match, but Matt's Twist of Fate and Jeff's Swanton Bomb ended the match. John Cena defeated Chris Jericho. Jericho really ruled this match up until the ending when the ref was knocked out and Edge came in to spear Jericho for the pin. Cena looked fantastic when he put out the offense. Molly Holly defeated Trish. Stacy came out and almost showed us why she should have won the Golden Thong Award, however Molly stopped that. The match looked over quickly as Molly appeared to have injured her knee. Staff from the back came to help her out and as Trish held the ropes open, Molly kicked her. It was fabulous selling on the part of Molly. It was up there in Bret Hart's league believe it or not. The match had one Trish botch on a bulldog, but Molly won by pinning her with her feet on the ropes. Main Event: Rob Van Dam defeated Brock Lesnar by DQ. The crowd was RILED UP for this one as RVD got the biggest pop on the night. All the big moves were hit except the F-5. RVD celebrated at the end of the show and gave five to everyone around the protective barrier (ourselves included!) Overall, it was a fantastic night as RVD's One of a Kind kept blaring as everyone exited the building. Biggest Pops: 1. RVD (by far) 2. Edge 3. Booker T 4. Christian/Lance Biggest Heat: 1. Regal/Nowinski (they still rule!) 2. Val and Hardcore/Sparky 3. Test 4. Brock Lesnar If anyone ever questions if it is THAT much better in person...no doubt about it. *NEW GALLERY* Very COOL and RARE Photos of WWE Stars and Divas OUT PARTYING!
