Overnight Smackdown Rating, WWE drops HWA, Roster Cuts, more

- WWE Smackdown did a 4.4 with a 7 share. UPN finished 4th, ahead of only the WB. Hours are as follows:

Hour 1: 3.9
Hour 2: 4.9

Final ratings should be released later on today.

- WWE is dropping their developmental organization, Les Thatcher’s Heartland Wrestling Association. They will keep the Ohio Valley Wrestling as their only development organization. They also released E.Z. Money, Mike Sanders, and Race Steele. Reportedly, one more person has been cut as well.

- WWE edited out Billy & Chuck vs. Hardcore Holly & Val Venis from Velocity and placed it on Smackdown.

- The Summerslam PPV poster features The Rock on it. To check it out, at click here.

- WWE Unforgiven will take place at The Staples Center on September 22nd, in Los Angeles, California.
