- Bret Hart was examined by doctors following a bicycle accident on Monday. While not much information has been released as to the severity of his injuries, what is known is that he is undergoing a variety of tests. Hart landed hard on the back of his head after being thrown from the bicycle which is especially dangerous for Hart due to the concussion that ended his career in 2000. At this time, it remains unknown as to what caused the accident.
- Bell Express Vu, Canada's leading satellite company, is scheduled to air a replay of last week's NWA-TNA debut pay-per-view as opposed to tonight's new show. The company had only signed on to air the first pay-per-view and was going to determine whether or not to pick up the shows regularly after seeing how successful the first one was. Whether or not they actually end up showing the new pay-per-view tonight would give a good idea how well the promotion did in Canada.

June 25, 2002
Anyone who is a regular reader of my columns knows that I enjoy riding my bike around town here in Calgary. Well, yesterday I took a tumble and since I retired due to a career ending concussion the docs are checking me over as a precautionary measure.
I mention it only because I've heard there are already exaggerated versions of what happened circulating and I don't want my family, friends and fans to be unnecessarily alarmed.
Thank you all for your concern and support. Bret Hitman Hart
