Russo update, Triple H undergoing surgery, and more

• Vince Russo was brought to WWE headquarters in Stamford yesterday and the day was filled with long meetings where everyone threw out ideas for storylines in the creative meetings. Reportedly, Russo's ideas were not appreciated and those who heard his ideas went to Vince McMahon saying they wouldn't work. By last night, Vince McMahon removed Russo from the creative department into a yet-to-be-determined area. Russo had always stated that he would only return to the WWF (WWE) if he had control of the product which is leading to some saying that he has already left the company. However, his leaving should only be taken as a rumor at this point.
  
  
• Reportedly, Triple H will undergo surgery on his elbow following Sunday's King of the Ring. No word on how much time he will miss, if any.
  
  
• Pioneer Home Video will be releasing two ECW videotapes on September 10th. Those titles are ECW WrestlePalooza '97 and ECW CyberSlam '99.
