More on Russo, NWA-TNA backstage notes

- Reportedly, Vince Russo had stated that the only way he would ever return to WWE is if he had control of the product, or at least as much control as one can have working under Vince McMahon. Russo is said to already be at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
- Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson and Steve Prazak, who were backstage at last night's NWA-TNA pay-per-view, were said to have a lot of positive things to say about the show.
- There were about 3,500 fans at the show. However, it is unknown how many of those were paid.
- Del Rios, who was a late addition to the battle royale because he showed up with Brian Christopher yesterday, was not used because of his resemblance to Scott Steiner. Reportedly, he even had an "S" on his ring gear because of his years of work in Memphis as The Spellbinder.
