  • The XWF has an office meeting scheduled for Friday to discuss the two potential television deals that are currently on the table. Reportedly, one of those deals is with Fox Sports Net while the other is with WGN. The XWF is apparently leaning towards WGN as a deal with Fox Sports Net would result in multiple pre-emptions due to the channel's sports coverage. Should a deal be reached, the promotion is planning on airing five television shows they have on tape from last year in July and August. However, there was also talk recently that AOL Time Warner was once again showing interest in the product. Should Friday's meeting go well, an announcement concerning the television situation should be made next week.

  • NWA-TNA have scheduled a talent meeting for today at 5 PM EST at the arena where the promotion's first pay-per-view will air from tomorrow. The wrestlers are expected to arrive at the arena by noon tomorrow for the pay-per-view which has caused more than one top wrestler to complain to friends about having to show up so early.
