The following news and notes comes from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which information can be obtained on it by Clicking Here.

More on that wonderful England plane ride that had endless problems for the WWE... There is strong suspicion that halcyon pills were placed in some of the wrestler's drinks, without their prior knowledge. This may have increased the ignorant behavior. (Meltzer, 2002)

Goldust or Dustin Runnels was not only in trouble for harassing his former ex-wife, Terri, on the plane ride, but for getting tobacco all over a passenger's seat. (Meltzer, 2002)

The flight had an actual one hour delay before taking off, which is where the majority of the drinking had begun. (Meltzer, 2002)

Ohio Valley Wrestling, probably from increased demand of tickets, is now moving to a 600 seat venue for their tapings. They were in the Davis arena, which held just 140 seats. (Meltzer, 2002)

The Unforgiven Pay Per View will take place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on September 22nd, while Survivor Series will take place from the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York on November 17th. (Meltzer, 2002)

In another chapter to Scott Hall's life, his ex-wife, Dana, is now filing to win custody over their children. (Meltzer, 2002)

Right now, there are NO recent negotiations with Scott Steiner, despite what is being said otherwise. Vince McMahon, probably from experience from Scott Hall, does NOT want to sign anyone for less than 2 years, and with Steiner, it's said any deal longer than just a few months with him is a risk due to his ability to get injured, often. (Meltzer, 2002)

Before joining the WWE, again, Mean Gene Okerlund was in the midst of plans to be reunited with Bobby "the Brain" Heenan to host monthly AWA Pay Per View shows. Heenan's health, by the way, has very much improved to be able to the AWA shows. (Meltzer, 2002)

There were no wrestlers signed to developmental deals from recent WWE tryout camps. (Meltzer, 2002)

Because of certain crowd reactions at the Canadian houseshows last week, there's already talk of turning Randy Orton heel. (Meltzer, 2002)
