The following news and notes comes from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which information can be obtained on it by Clicking Here.

There was some initial talk about placing Triple H vs. Chris Jericho - Hell in the Cell at the very top of the Judgment Day card, given that a very hot match from the two would steal the show in comparison to the Main Event of Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan, which was predicted to not be a show stealer. Obviously, the matches weren't switched, and you could assume the comedy match between Chuck/Billy vs. Rikishi/Rico was placed in between the matches to settle the crowd down. (Meltzer, 2002)

The WWE is currently trying to set up some sort of meeting between Vince McMahon and Bill Goldberg, in hopes to possibly strike a deal. The WWE has been trying to set up a date, even calling him on a daily basis, but Goldberg hasn't been able to clear his schedule yet. Goldberg has asked that Vince will come to him for any kind of negotiations, which to some, it appears that Goldberg is playing a "psychological" game to see how much the WWE wants him. (Meltzer, 2002)

Goldberg was invited to a recent television taping for a WWE show, but he turned it down. (Meltzer, 2002)

Bill Goldberg is still looking toward doing something with both New Japan and Pride. However, with Pride, those associated with the Mixed Martial Arts fighting world aren't any Goldberg joining Pride possibilies seriously. (Meltzer, 2002)

Kevin Nash fully expects to be turned face once he's available and healthy to wrestle again. This explains why he's taken more of a charge with the group and going after Goldust on television lately. Nash has been upset with not being used on several occasions, having his interview cancelled when Booker T joined the NWO, and from the decisions of having Flair, on television, deciding who gets to be in the NWO. (Meltzer, 2002)

The WWE is acting as though Kurt Angle will NOT be going to the 2004 Olympics and taking a year off in 2003 to train for them. It appears as though the WWE will do everything within their power to get Angle to stay, given the recent injuries, age, and absenses of the top stars. Angle has been one of the most stable and available wrestlers at the top for the past few years. (Meltzer, 2002)

Brock Lesnar was NOT punished for his England flight actions through his May 13th RAW match against the Hardy Boyz. Rather it was since Lesnar was going over at Judgment Day (or Heyman was), the Hardys had to be built up, in some way, against Lesnar, which is why the DQ occurred. (Meltzer, 2002)
