Smackdown overnight rating, Hurricane’s stalker, Davey Boy interview, more

    Last night’s edition of Smackdown drew an overnight rating of 4.6 with a share of 7. It finished fourth among the top cable shows for the night. However, the number is considered low, for there was nothing but repeats on the other big networks in competition with it.

    The latest rumor on the Hurricane’s stalker angle is that it is Jamie Knoble and not Rey Mysterio Jr. sending the mysterious letters to him.

    AOL Time Warner has settled all its remaining lawsuits from the old WCW including those with Sonny Oono and THQ. However, those wrestlers who have moved since parting ways with the company, may not get their check.

    Chris Benoit will be appearing at today’s WWE press conference at the Silver City, West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Canada to promote the sale of tickets for next week’s RAW in the city. This probably is another evidence of the possibility of him joining the RAW roster despite being drafted on the Smackdown roster.

    Lance Storm will be appearing at tomorrow's WWE press conference at the Silver City Country Hills in Calgary, Canada to promote next week's Smackdown in the city.
