Davey Boy update, More on Nash/X-Pac, Taker injured, more

• According to the Calgary Sun, preliminary reports state that the cause of Davey Boy Smith's death was heart failure brought on by steroids. However, more should be known in about three weeks then the toxicology reports come back.
  
  
• Also according to the Calgary Sun, Sid Smith, Davey Boy's father, has agreed to allow the body of his son to remain in Canada for a memorial service but plans to return the body to his birthplace of Manchester, England for a burial.
  
  
• When yesterday's Raw rating came in, it sent shockwaves through WWE management. They are fully aware that there is a serious problem with the current product but they aren't sure how to fix it exactly.
  
  
• Earlier, we posted a report of how X-Pac and Kevin Nash threatened to quit WWE if their storyline situation hadn't improved. Reportedly, when Nash and X-Pac showed up at Raw on Monday, they weren't pleased with their roles for the evening so they went looking for Vince McMahon to talk it over but as has been reported earlier, McMahon was busy doing the Steve Austin/Eddie Guerrero segments. Both then ran into writer Ed Coskey and explained their displeasure to him. Reportedly, X-Pac told Coskey that he quit, got his bag and left. Nash did not do the same but spoke to Shane McMahon instead and then went to bring X-Pac back inside. X-Pac then spoke with Jim Ross. The WWE writers never rewrote the entire segment for Nash and X-Pac but instead the two sat down with Brian Gerwertz and fine tuned the segments. So preliminary reports of the two threatening to quit were exaggerated.
  
  
• The Undertaker suffered a hip/sciatic injury during the opening segment of Raw with Rob Van Dam on Monday. Backstage, Taker was told that he shouldn't work that evening and could have taken the night off but he refused. Instead, he worked with RVD and did his best to get him over so kudos to The Undertaker for that.
