Weekend ratings, RAW attendance note, Ed Ferrara talks, more

    Sunday Night Heat scored a dismal 0.9 rating, with a share of 1.7, one of the worst ratings the show has ever scored. This definitely is a scary sign for the Judgment Day buyrate. The replay scored a 0.7 rating, with a share of 1.5.

    Saturday’s episode of Excess scored a 0.75 rating, off of hours of 0.7 and 0.8.

    Tough Enough 2 replays on Saturday at midnight and 12:30 scored 0.6 ratings.

    WWE’s attendance woes seem to be continuing as last night’s RAW in Memphis, TN was not even close to a sell out. The entire upper level of the Pyramid arena was empty, and was blacked out with curtains. There were approximately 12,000 fans in attendance, while the capacity of the arena is 18,500.

    Reportedly, attendance at last night’s Smackdown brand house show in Birmingham, AL was also very low, which could be expected for it had competition against RAW after a PPV.

    According to Lycos 50 search engine, number of wrestling fans searching for “WWE” on the internet has increased to 28% from last week’s 12.5%.

    Okay... it's time I got a few things off my chest. First of all, I would say it's good to be back, but, truth be told, I was never gone to begin with. For the past year or so I've been (as always) continuing to work in the background and doing what I've always done... unseen, unheard and unnoticed. I've always been the "Silent Partner" -- the guy everyone would turn to when they were in trouble and needed solid advice, but would never want to publicly admit that they needed any help. At the same time, I never spoke to the sheets, rarely gave interviews and generally kept to myself and did my job without taking the time out of my day to explain to anyone who I was, what I did and how I felt.
