As announced last night on Sunday Night Heat, Mean Gene Okerlund will host WWE’s new “Confidential” show, which airs in the second hour of what was the “Excess” timeslot. Also returning to WWE television is Shawn Michaels who will be the special guest on the show’s debut this Saturday.

I just got back from the Judgment Day PPV and all I can say is.....eh. The show had its high points (Hell In The Cell) and it had its low ones (Rikishi's match). The crowd went crazy during The Hell In The Cell Match, loud pops the hole match, deafening at times. The Security was having to work overtime taking all of the anti-Hogan signs (I counted 9 of them get taken away). The crowd went crazy laughing during the Booker T./Goldust segment. I Started a huge Goldberg chant during Brock's match, I had a bunch of event staff people giving me looks....oops. During the Tag-Title match, We kept giving Rico a hard time over his chops, and he kept screaming at us. After the camera's went off. Undertaker left and Hogan walked around the ring telling everyone he was sorry and then rolled back into the ring and did a LOOOOOOOONG pose session. He then grabbed his wrestling belt and left.

    *Loudest Pop*
    1. Hogan
    2. Austin
    3. Edge (Edge & RVD's pops were about the same)
    4. RVD (See Above)
    5. When Shawn Michaels was shown on the upcoming WWE Confidential Commercial

    *Biggest Heat*
    1. Kurt Angle (when he refused to be shaven)
    2. Eddie Gurerro
    3. Regal (I guess this was on Heat).
    4. Billy & Chuck
    5. Rev. D'von and Deacon Batista

We went to the PPV in Nashville and had a blast.Just thought I would let you know they messed up alot with the cameras. We had one top sectioned blacked out but other than that it was a great turn out.We got alot of chants started and it turned out well. The biggest thing is that on our way home which is 50 miles away from Gaylord,a friend had to use the bathroom so we stopped at a store.Up pulls a limosine and Stacy Keibler,Val Venis and Test went in the store.Stacy was very nice but the other two were stuck up.We talked for a few and Val was getting mad cause some of my buddies kept saying hello ladies LMAO.

Instead of airing the 2002 edition of WWE Judgment Day on 60-minute tape delay like scheduled, German pay TV station "Premiere" caused irritations and angry reactions among German wrestling fans who stayed up late to watch the PPV by cancelling the tape delay broadcast at last minute and showing a re-run of the 2001 event instead. In a short info text Premiere informed its viewers that the cancellation was caused by legal reasons. As of now there is no official or confirmed information regarding the situation so take the following as a rumor and as a rumor only:

BSkyB of Rupert Murdoch owns a 22% share of "Premiere" which is worth 1.7 billion deutschmarks (about 900 million dollars). Murdoch is contractually enabled to demand a buyout of his share from the other owners if Premiere does bad business and fails to meet its business projections. This is the case with Premiere falling short of gaining enough subscribers to balance their budget which is burdened by expensive movie and sports rights. At this point Premiere has 2.4 million subscribers. In order to reach profitability over 4 millions are needed. Premiere´s financial debacle even caused the downfall of Germany´s biggest media company, KirchMedia, who is the main share holder of "Premiere" and who had to file for insolvency recently. The rights for the current WWE programming in Germany are owned by Taurus Sports though which is a subcompany of Taurus Holding, a Kirch enterprise, which has not been affected by insolvency yet. In the past couple of days Taurus Holding, which is also responsible for coordinating all business operations within the KirchMedia companies, had to fight off immense pressure by Rupert Murdoch who has opted to have his share bought out. This situation could lead to the insolvency of more Kirch companies, including Taurus Holding, Taurus Sport (WWE rights owner) and Premiere itself. It is possible now that WWE decided to not deliver any further programming to Taurus until the situation is resolved. But as mentioned above take this as a rumor.

I was watching ESPN after the WWE PPV. During the show, they were hyping their top 10 plays of the week. Don't know how much I missed earlier, but they showed promos from Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle and Mark Henry. Hogan had the world title, and him and Jericho had the most promos (2-3 from what I saw). All of the wrestlers were bashing Chris Berman in some fashion.

As for the PPV, I watched it at the world-famous Oyster Pub in Daytona Beach, Fla. Daytona is a big wrestling area due to the NWO's formation and Hogan's turn here. The crowd seemed to pop the most when Angle got his hair cut and when he lost, when Paul Heyman was in the ring and for RVD and Stone Cold. The crowd was somewhat disgusted when Hogan lost.

    Source is from jayski.com:

Elliott Sadler, according to several sources, has come up with an $11 million sponsorship with the World Wrestling Federation (actually the WWE not WWF) and is shopping that deal around. Two weeks ago DEI's Ty Norris, who is in renegotiation talks with sponsor NAPA and Pennzoil (now owned by Shell), confirmed talking with Sadler. Now word from Ford Motor Company sources is that Ford officials are trying to keep Sadler in their camp by trying to put together a new Ford ride for him. One of the Ford options being raised is a ride with Robert Yates, even though neither of Yates' two current drivers, Dale Jarrett and Ricky Rudd, has expressed any interest in moving on. According to one source, Sadler has not been satisfied with the horsepower he's been getting from Roush Racing.
