List of WWF tryouts, Hogan rumor, RAW tidbit, more

    --Last night at RAW, the WWF had blacked out nearly 75% of the decent view seats of the upper deck.

    --I would like to stress the fact that the following tidbit is only a rumor:

    The WWF is advertising Hulk Hogan for the SmackDown! group house show in Birmingham, AL on May 20th, the day after the Judgment Day pay-per-view. If Hogan was to appear on that show, he won't be on RAW that same day. It sounds rather surprising that after retaining the Undisputed Title, Hogan won't be on RAW to celebrate. Maybe a hint for who's winning at Judgment Day.

    --Here is the list of talent that took part at last week’s WWF tryout/training camp in Cincinnati, OH:

  • Rick Michaels from NWA Wildside
  • Andy Anderson (Lobo) from IWA Puerto Rico
  • April Hunter
  • Daffney
  • Bobby Rude from ECWA
  • Mitch Paradise from Wisconsin & Minnesota indies
  • Adara James from Minnesota indies, also worked WWA Australia tour
  • Jason Breeze from Canadian indies, also has ties to Kurt Angle
  • Johnny Jeter who is a Nick Dinsmore trainee
  • Sly from Canadian indies
  • Horshu from West Coast indies including UPW
  • Bret Albright from Oklahoma, wrestling background not known
  • Johnny Rage from UWF in Las Vegas
  • Jimmy Vegas from Pittsburgh indies
  • Josh Lomberger (Josh Matthews) from "Tough Enough"

    Apart from the above mentioned participants, Leviathan and Sean O’Haire, who are regulars with WWF developmental territory OVW were present too providing help to the trainees.

    The participants were told that the stiff shoot-style matches that are getting a lot of press (like Low-Ki vs. American Dragon) is not what the WWF is looking for, because it causes a lot of health problems, and more importantly its not WWF's style of wrestling.
