Reason Big Show joined nWo, DDP injury update, and more

- There is a rumor going around today that Hulk Hogan used his backstage influence to get his friend, The Big Show, into the nWo. Prior to Hogan's return to the WWF, The Big Show was pretty much an afterthought for the company since they signed him to a huge contract back in early 1998 and it never paid off. When Hogan returned in February, The Big Show immediately began hanging out with Hogan so many people say this angle of Show joining the nWo as Hogan going a favor for a friend.
- Chris Pronger of the St. Louis Blues was at last night's Raw.
- The reason Diamond Dallas Page missed last night's Smackdown house show in Valparaiso was due to his back injury, which Jim Ross documented in his latest Ross Report. The back injury is said to be career threatening and Page may have actually already wrestled his last match.
- The Scorpion King was Canada's highest-grossing movie of the weekend as well, bringing in $2.3 million.

- According to several media sources, The Rock's movie salary is now at $10 million due to The Scorpion King's success. The Rock made $5.5 million for the movie.
