Bret "The Hitman" Hart was on ABC's "Contact: Talking To The Dead" on Monday. The medium, George Anderson says that Bret's mom is coming through. Bret talks about his mother (Helen, who recently passed away), and mentions her recent passing. He talks about his history as a wrestler, and they show some of his WWF clips, like from WrestleMania 12 and SummerSlam '92 (it was all footage from "Wrestling With Shadows," not any new footage from the WWF). He mentions the family's lack of communication, obviously refering to their recent problems with Davey, Diana, and everyone. His mom supposedly mentions about how many brothers he has (Bruce, Owen, Ross, etc.). The two sons are supposedly there with her (Owen and someone else; I guess he lost another brother, too). We go to a commercial. When we come back, Bret discusses his two late brothers. One comes through as being not very close to Bret, which refers to Dean Hart. There's a gap b! etween them. Then, Owen is drawn very close. He comes through as "Bret's pal." Bret mentions the freak accident at the Kansas City Kemper Arena where Owen fell to his death. Owen comes through as being a younger brother to Bret, almost like Bret brought him up. Bret mentions how close they were. Owen supposedly thanks Bret for that. With that, they step back. Bret said he was thinking that he would hear more from his mom.

Overall, Bret came off pretty good. He looked good, looked like he was doing well. He's my all-time favorite grappler, so I wouldn't have missed his appearance for the world.

    Contact: Talking To The Dead

I watched it and the host started out talking about what he is picking up
from his mom and that she was telling him that they have a messed up family,
where everyone just fights for themselves. The host says that he understands
that their is no communication in their family, and while he is telling Bret
about this Bret is laughing at it, which makes since that this guy is
hitting the nail right on the head with all these family comments. After a
commercial the host says he is getting that Bret and his brother Dean didn't
get along as they got older, but him and Owen were really close. Bret says
he agrees and tells how Owen died and that the character Owen played was
nothing like him. Bret says he always wanted to know what in the hell Owen
was thinking. The host says that he is being told that Owen looked at Bret
as his hero b/c he helped him when they were younger to his death. Segemnt
ends as Bret says he wanted to hear from his mom and two brothers and feels
like the conversation with his mom was the same as it was a couple of
    monthes before her death.

All I have to say is that Bret looks really old and stessed out and you can
tell the events of his family has really taken a toll on him.

To begin with, I have been to virtually all of the WWF events at the Savvis Center in St. Louis since roughly 1997 (minus a few house shows) and this is the first time I have ever seen sections tarped off. That is not to say there was a poor turnout, but it is typical for the arena to be sold out so it was a bit on the disappointing side. I was in Kansas City for Backlash last night, and I must say that the crowd came off so much better for Raw in St. Louis (maybe it was based on the content of the shows).

    Dark Matches/SNH Tapings...

There were no dark matches whatsoever and the action began with Sunday Night Heat Tapings...

    Bossman vs Crash Holly
    Tommy Dreamer vs Justin Credible
    Eddy Guerrero vs D-Lo Brown
    Raven vs Steven Richards

Suprisingly, it seemed as if "Hulkamania" wasn't nearly as over in St. Louis as it was in Kansas City and in other venues since Hogan's match at Wrestlemania with The Rock. I would say Hogan drew just as many "boos" as he did cheers - regardless, the crowd was reacting to him one way or another.

After Raw went off the air, the nWo and its newest member, The Big Show, continued to beatdown Steve Austin. Eventually, Hulk Hogan ran in to aid Austin and cleared the ring. Once the ring was down to just Hogan and Austin, however, Austin gave the WWF Champion the "stunner" to a huge pop. At that point, Austin celebrated with beer to the crowd's delight, as Hogan staggered to his feet. This time, Austin celebrated alongside Hogan as the two toasted with numerous (and I mean NUMEROUS beers). I have seen Austin do this off-camera routine before with others (The Rock, Undertaker, Kane, etc), and Hogan is the first that I have seen actually take the time to drink the beer, rather than spill it all over himself much like Austin and everyone else who is tossed a beer. Eventually, Austin left, leaving Hogan by himself, but Austin again returned, and the two continued drinking beer. Austin included Earl Hebner and Jim Ross in the ceremonies this time. Earl actually climbed the turnbuckle and toasted the crowd. Austin then left, again leaving Hogan by himself. Hogan spent a great deal of the time doing his traditional poses, and then took a page out of Austin's book by giving the crowd the middle finger salute, oddly enough.

I just went to Raw last night. It was awesome. It was by far the best show
i've been too. Here's some notes from what happened.

After Raw went off the air, nWo went up the ramp but when Austin started to
get up they came back down to beat him up. Hollywood Hogan's music came on
and he ran down (without the belt) and beat up on them. Hogan clotheslined
Big Show out of the ring and Austin got a double stunner on Hall and X-pac.
Then he stunnered Hogan and asked for beers and the stage guys threw him
beers. Hogan got up stole a beer from Austin and put it out to toast. They
just stared at each other for about two minutes and Austin did the toast.
They posed on the turnbuckles with the beers and Earl Hebner got on the top
rope with two beers and chugged them better than Austin. Austin gave King
and JR. beers as well. Austin kept on teasing the stunner again several
times. Everytime he gave Hogan a beer he went to go do it and Hogan would
turn around and Austin just went to one of the turnbuckles and they
basically did that and Austin left to his music. Hogan's music came on and
he started stumbling like he was drunk and put his hands to his mouth like
Austin does to signal that he wants more beer. HE then did the double middle
finger, posed on the ramp then left. Also when Austin kept throwing Hogan
the beers Hogan kept on dropping them.

A Flasher got kicked out for showing her breast between all the commercial
breaks. One fight broke out in the same section.

During the commercial break before the RVD match Eddie came out to his music
then it just stopped once he got by the announcer's table. The then showed
the merchandise commercial and his music started again and he walked to the
table the rest of the way. I guess it was suppose to look like he was just
coming out but he was out there for a good two minutes before it came back
    from the commercial.

The highlight of the night for me though has to be before going to the
event. I was walking from union station to the savvis center and i stopped
at a crosswalk. A red jeep pulled up with tinted windows in the back. I saw
someone back there but couldn't make it out. Then looked in the front and it
was Scott Hall and Nash was driving (so I knew Nash had to show up tonight!)
and my cousin shouted it's Scott Hall! and he turned his head toward Nash
and they drove away. To be sure it was them and not us imagining things we
went up to the gate where the wrestlers enter and asked if they saw a red
jeep and they confirmed that they were in it. And we decided to wait to see
if anyone else would show up when matt hardy pulled up w/out Jeff and Lita
and stopped looked at both sides of the gate and did the hardy boyz sign and
drove down the ramp. All in all the best night of my life.

Also during one of the commercial breaks they had a divas music video of No
Doubt's Hey Baby with scenes from the new divas video.

    Pops
    1. Triple H
    2. Hollywood Hogan
    3. Steve Austin
    4. Ric Flair
    5. Undertaker's Entrance (I think it was the music!)

    Heat
    1. nWo
    2. Brock Lesner
    3. Bradshaw laid out
    4. The flasher being escorted out of the building
    5. Undertaker after his entrance/Hogan during the Kid Rock Desire video

Lots of woooooo's before the show and after the show it was all What?'s!

I went to RAW in St. Louis last night and I must say...the show is so much
better live. First show I have been to in about 2 years. Sat 15th row on
camera side. Got there during the Dlo vs Eddie match. Crowd was excited to
see Dlo. He got up on the rope, looked at the crowd for a bit, then did his
rubber chicken neck thing. Lillian, Jr and The King all came out and did
thier usual things. BROCK LESNER IS THE MAN! Thats all I gotta say. He is
huge and totaly killed Matt Hardy. A girl was teasing the crowd during the
Stasiak vs Regal match...most ppl didnt even know it was goin on cuz she was
gettin kicked out by a Lance Bass look alike. Everybody in our section was
Anti-Hogan...I think most ppl realized hes old and needs to give it up so
the younger stars can get their chance. Over all a good show. After camera
went off, NWO came back to beat up on Austin, Hogan came out and made the
save knocking Big Slow over the top rope and Austin gave a double stunner to
Hall and X-Suck. Then gave one to Hogan, celebrated on the ropes. Hogan
stood back up and looked like he would fight Austin when he stole his beer.
But then Hogan and Austin toasted and drank. Hogan was climbing on the
turnbuckles, drinking beer, and flipping off the crowd as he imitated
    Austin. Pure entertainment!
