Vince called for title change, RVD radio recap, and more

  • Reportedly, the word going around backstage at Backlash was that it was Vince McMahon who called for Hulk Hogan to win the WWF title off of Triple H.

  • Comcast Cable in the Philadelphia area was experiencing system problems earlier tonight so they weren't able to take orders for Backlash during the show.

  • Time Warner Cable in San Antonio changed their system without notifying customers prior so that if you didn't have digital cable and lived in the San Antonio area, you weren't able to order Backlash.

I'm not so sure if anyone has reported on this yet but Friday morning on Kenny and Footy in the morning on Y-100, they interviewed RVD. It opened up with them asking RVD if he was related to Rob Van WInkle and Jean Claude Van Damme, and RVD responded with "This is the first time anyones said that, and I'm not liking it." They asked him about his match with Eddie Guerrero on Sunday (tonight) and who was gonna win, with RVD answering "The cooler man will win." After, they asked him if he was dating anyone or he liked a certain someone and he said "I've been happily married for the last 3 years. Then they asked him who would win in a fight, Rock or RVD. RVD said "I don't think the rock would be too happy with the crowd's reaction on that one." They wished RVD good luck at wrestlemania and he hung up the phone. After RVD was gone, Footy made a remark saying that any guy that enjoys wearing spandex and tight clothing and fighting other men has to be crazy and Kenny responded with "If only he would've heard you. He would squash you from here to there." Then they "asked" Ozzie Osbourne if he could beat RVD (It wasn't really him. It was a recording) and he responded "I have no clue." That was it.
