Small Town School's Former Student Rocking Big Screen The Rock Got Start In Bethlehem, Pa.
To fans around the country he's known as The Rock, but at Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pa., he's known simply as Dwayne Johnson.
One of pro wrestling's most colorful characters graduated from Freedom high in 1990.
"He was quite quiet, unassuming very polite. He was really a good student. The teachers here really liked him," said Tony Villani, Johnson's former principal.
It is hard to believe that The Rock and Dwayne Johnson are one in the same. During his three years at Freedom High, Johnson was an outstanding football player.
"He's a good looking kid as everyone can see. He's a big hunk and he has a lot of charisma," said Jake Llewellyn, Johnson's high school wrestling coach
