Reports are circulating that Rob Van Dam is not very happy in the WWF because he is not getting very much wrestling time. When RVD's three year contract expires it is believed he will not resign. Paul Heyman has been seen on many occasions telling RVD how important it is for him to remain in the WWF. Jim Ross practically gave away which side Steve Austin would be on when he stated in his Ross Report yesterday that Austin would be facing Undertaker at house shows next weekend in Salt Lake and Denver. The house shows belong to the Raw roster. In the March 16 Ross Report, Ross said, "Kurt Angle recently signed a new long-term contract that he and I negotiated. Kurt will be a part of the Federation for many years to come." It is now being reported via Kurt's wife Karen at http://www.kurtanglewwf.com/karen/karenskorner.htm that it was a 5 year extension that Kurt signed. Well, nobody believed it because X-Pac still defended the belt at house shows. After checking WWFSuperstars.com and WWFTitleHistory.com today I found out that they scrapped the Light Heavyweight Title from both sites and replaced it with the Cruiserweight Title, which is now officially recognized as WWF belt. That's logical because J.R. wrote in his Ross Report that the Raw league will build up a hardcore division while the Smackdown brand will feature a cruiserweight division. X-Pac is on the Raw roster and doesn't wear the Light Heavyweight Title anymore.
