The Lyrical Fix: The Death of Stephanie McMahon
I’m Chad Brown, that lyrical geek
Who entertains you every other week
Just sit back and enjoy another Fix at LOP
Let’s get down to rhyming, shall we?
Table of Contents:
Part I: Split Down the Middle
Part II: The Death of Steph
Split Down the Middle
Never before has so much
Rested on a 2 hour adrenaline rush
Last night’s RAW would decide
How high the WWF would ride
Changing wrestling forever and beyond
Vince had a chance to use a magic wand
And make everything better again
Or make it flop like a DQ win
This was the day to get things right
Finally put his company back in flight
So much to win, just as much to lose
Either light the candle, or blow the fuse
After RAW, when I hit ‘off’ on my remote,
I knew I had a foot back in the WWF boat
Cause for the past few weeks, I’ll admit
My excitement level has risen a bit
Cause Vince finally got the guts
To listen to the fans for once
And wow, when he listens to us
All the storylines aren’t a bust
After RAW, I can’t deny
That I didn’t wonder “WHY?!”
Parts of the draft made no sense
But most of it showed some intelligence
Why was Taker in the top spot?
Why was Mark Henry’s pick so hot?
What “clause” exempted Austin?
And why did nobody draft Blackman?
Lots of stuff left un-answered
But slowly, Vine is killing the cancer
That he’s created over the past year
The same one that turned Austin queer
The draft did its job, 100 percent
By keeping fans tuned into it
The split has potential, no doubt
Especially with the Cruiser bouts
Tajiri, Scotty, a returning Mysterio,
And the return of Eddy Guerrero
That division could be a huge hit
If it’s played right after the split
For me, the draft passed expectations
And to Vince, I say congratulations
For starting to restore the wrestling brand
And restoring my faith as a WWF fan
The Death of Steph
While some focused on the split
My eyes were on the main event
I swore to myself, before RAW rolled around
That if for any reason, Steph was crowned
The new WWF Undisputed Champion,
Me and wrestling were officially done
I’d quit; never watch again
If Trips didn’t pull out a win
It happened once with David Arquette,
And I hoped that Vince wouldn’t let
His only title with any worth
Fall under that deadly curse
That same curse that ruined Sting
I hoped it wouldn’t spread to Vince’s ring
Sure enough, it all went down
Steph is no longer around
It was so nice to hear the fans cry
A very sincere, and final goodbye
How long will it last? I don’t care
There’s no longer a princess billionaire
No more slut, or 2-dollar whore,
No ruining angles galore
Watching TV won’t be a chore
Cause Steph ain’t on it anymore
Thank you Vince, finally, at last
Your head isn’t up your family’s ass
My prayers have been answered
They got rid of the real cancer
Now, maybe I can go back to old times
When I enjoyed main event storylines
It took years, but thinking like a fan
Vince finally killed Steph McMahon!
I’m Chad Brown, and the above lyrics
Have been part of the Lyrical Fix
I encourage feedback of any level
Cause I’m out like a Duke Blue Devil
Take it easy,
Chad Brown
