DEAN BALDWIN VS HUMAN TIME BOMB

The aroma of Dean's Cuban cigar proceeds him to the ring, and he approaches with an orange martini this time. "Baldwin Wannabe" signs have started to spring up through the audience. One has to wonder where this man shops…oh, that's right…Rodeo Drive! The match begins with a lock up in the corner, HTB's advantage as Dean screams "Get him off me…I'm a Baldwin!" As HTB backs away, he gets a sucker punch for his trouble. He retaliates with a powerful clothesline, followed by a power slam and succession of fists to the head. A nice leg drop and HTB gets a two count. HTB hits Dean with a clothesline in the corner that knocked his man completely flat on his butt. Dean manages a boot to the face, but a drop toe hold by HTB has precious Baldwin visage kissing canvas. Dean gets up, and knocks HTB out of the ring. As he tries to reenter, Baldwin knocks him right back to the floor. Again HTB tries to gain entrance, again he's knocked down. Third time is a charm, however and HTB hits a spear through the second rope, then flips over the top to attempt a roll up. Dean reverses, however and using the rope for leverage, gets the pin.

    WINNER: DEAN BALDWIN

MEDIC #8 VS BENNIE THE BOOKIE

Bennie the Bookie makes his television debut. Medic #8 may be as well, however Davis arena has also seen a Medic #9, so I am uncertain as to that fact. Bennie begins the match in control with a headlock, followed by a nice flying cross body for a near fall. Medic #8, his true size and form hidden beneath hospital scrubs shows his strength with a suplex that actually resounded off the mat. Bennie responds with some heavy fists, but a knee to the gut from Medic #8 and Bennie literally flips over. Prone, Bennie is hit with multiple knees to the chest. Medic #8 goes to the top rope, and sticks his finger in the air as if to check the wind. Medic goes for a shooting star press, but the wind must have changed, as he landed a bit awkwardly. A big boot to the face and Medic #8 is down, allowing Bennie the pin. Nice work from both newcomers to HWA TV.

    WINNER: BENNIE THE BOOKIE

JOHNNY THE BULL VS THE SURFER CODY HAWK

Match starts with Cody locking up his man from behind, and receiving and elbow in the face for his effort. Johnny the bull follows with some heavy hitting forearms. With a slide through his opponent's legs and a quick flip over his back, Cody gets a near fall. Johnny catches Cody coming off the ropes and slams him down, working on his left shoulder. The abuse to the shoulder continues with chops and even utilizing the turnbuckle. The Bull retains control with a DDT, and a two count, but Cody powers out. Johnny attempts a head lock, but Cody sits abruptly. Nice heel kick by Cody. A huge back body drop, and a near fall for Cody. Sidewalk slam by Johnny the Bull for the pin

    WINNER: JOHNNY THE BULL

STEVE BRADLEY AND LANCE CADE VS THE ISLAND BOYS

Bradley takes the mic and makes reference to Ekmo's injury, but how they were indeed going to take on the Island Boys. Kimo and Ekmo's music begins…but out comes the most ridiculous site I have ever seen. Introduced as Tickle Me Ekmo and Ki Bro, the Long Island Boys, the wrestlers HWA has known as Matt Dillinger and the Hussla come to the ring, complete with bad Polynesian attire and braids…absolute mockery…but funny. Bradley and Cade waste no time in taking out their aggressions on these imposters. Lance throws Ki Bro (that even looks silly written) out of the ring, and an atomic drop on Dillinger gets Bradley a two count right out of the gate, but pulls his man up for further punishment. Dillinger gets in a lucky shot, but Bradley promptly clotheslines him back down. Lance Cade is tagged in, and he too gets a quick two count, could have made three, but elects to pull his opponent back up for more. Bradley in now, too, and a double team back drop. Bradley gets the Smashmouth, and Dillinger is beaten. But that's not enough. Bradley pulls out a belt even as Cade uses his chaps for a weapon. Of course, the real Island boys had about all the ridicule they could stand at this point, and storm the ring…with Mike Sanders right behind! After chasing the Tag Team Champs out of the ring, the make short work of the "Long Island Boys", much to the crowd's delight.

WINNERS: STEVE BRADLEY AND LANCE CADE

JAMIE "BY GOD" KNOBLE VS CHET JABLONSKI with Brock Guffman

Match begins with a boot to the face by Chet. He then attempts a suplex, which Jamie blocks. It is a fairly evenly matched battle, although Chet seems to overpower his man at first. A drop toe hold, however, leaves Chet with a busted nose. Jamie regains control of the match, working on the right leg and knee of his opponent. Jamie employed more of a variety of leg locks than I have seen in one match, and he works the knee endlessly…with kicks, sweeps and finally attempts a Boston crab, but Chet makes it to the ropes. Again Jamie tried a leg log, but Chat's free leg issues a kick that sends Knoble into the turnbuckle. A series of suplexes by Chet, but lightening fast Knoble again hooks the leg. Chet taps out. Excellent technical skill in this match by Jamie Knoble, and the crowd shows it's approval with applause.

    WINNER: JAMIE KNOBLE BY SUBMISSION

    MAIN EVENT
CHAD COLLYER with Helena Heavenly VS SENSATIONAL SHANNON MOORE
Final match best of seven series for Cruiserweight title

These two men have given their all over the last few weeks in this best of seven series of matches. Each of the matches have flowed nicely, reflecting both Chad's superb technical skill and Shannon's more Arial style. This match starts with a quick take down by Chad, which Shannon literally flips out of. A very fast paced match, with Chad showing great potential at just plain brawling, perhaps frustrated he didn't cleanly sweep the series as he'd hoped? Shannon drops three beautiful leg drops in succession using the ropes as a springboard. Chad goes for a suplex, but Shannon is seemingly immobile until the third try. Chad flows back to great technical wrestling…until he grabs Shannon's hair and throws him to the mat. Chad delivers a clothesline to Shannon, but Shannon powers out. Chad gets Shannon in the chin lock, even as the fans rally behind him. The "Go, Shannon, Go!" chants were met by a visible tightening of the lock. The more fans cheered, the tighter the hold got. Shannon escapes, and two very fast near falls in each man's favor. Chad gets Shannon's shoulder down in an unusual pin for a near fall. Shannon starts with his signature kicks. Shannon goes up and nails the hurricanrana, but Helena is on the roped distracting referee Joe Kopascz with a slap. Shannon has had just about enough of her at this point, and brings her in the ring the hard way. He balls up his fist to punch her, then gets a better idea. He holds her for Kopascz, and indeed it looks like the referee might take advantage…and he did…he kissed her! Then he unceremoniously tossed her out of the ring while Shannon gets Chad down for the pin.

WINNER AND NEW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMP: SHANNON MOORE
