    Big show interview on talksport’s wrestling show with Tommy Boyld

    Tommy Boyld welcomes the big show to talksport. Asks how long he has been in the UK, Says since Thursday morning and it’s been a busy few days.

    Tommy asks what he is going to be doing tonight, Big show says tonight he is going to a traditional English pub tonight for his first pint of Guinness.

    Tommy says we are going to callers now.

    Caller: how did he got into wrestling

    BS: Through Hogan he met Hogan at a basketball game and Hogan introduced him to some WCW people

    Caller: What is the toughest aspect of been a wrestler

    BS: Travelling he loves perfuming and entertaining but its hell travelling

    Caller: why he wasn’t booked at mania

    BS: As there were no plans for him but he is hoping this year will be a big year for him and maybe at Wrestlemania 19 he will be there.

    Caller: How we found OVW

    BS: He says he needed OVW to find himself and get himself sorted out. He says he appreciates the fans more and works harder now.

    Caller: What he thinks of the brand extension

    BS: Says it will open up avenues for wrestlers who don’t get much air time, he says competition is good for everything

    Caller: did he enjoy Wrestlemania and what did he think of the Rock.Hogan match

    BS: Of course he enjoyed it he says it was good , he was in WWF New York sitting in with the crowd and it was great to feel the energy. He loved the Hogan rock match as he is a great friend of Hogan and said it meant everything to him when the fans were chanting his name. He says rock grew up in the locker rooms when hulkamania was at its peek and said it was great for him as well.

    He is asked about the comedy roles where he impersonated Hogan

    He says it was done as there had no real plans for him at the time, he says there was a time and a place for that. This year he wants to just wrestle and go for the title.

    E-mail: What does he think of the current tag team champs.

    BS: He says Billy Gunn is a great athlete and so is Chuck. Billy has the experience and there great wrestlers. He is unsure about their gimmick though.

    Caller: What he thinks of Vince Mcmahon

    BS: Vince is very professional, he is really a billionaire and is in tremendous shape, even in better shape then some of the guys in the WWF roster. He says he is so hands on and is involved with every ting. He says Vince is some to admire and emulate.

    E-Mail: Does he know which roster he will be drafted in

    BS: He does not know yet hopefully he will know soon, at the moment he just wants an opportunity

    Tommy asks if he can ask some stuff about the guy himself and not the character, what music is he into

    BS: Ozzy Osborne Kid rock and down to Dean Martin

    Do you get to go to the movies?

    He says he likes movies and he has been in few of them, a movie he has seen lately is time machine. He says he liked Harry Potter. His favourite movie is lord of the rings this year.

    He asked what his origins are?

    He is unsure about his origins

    Caller: what is his most competitive match (best match)

    BS: Says he has had some good matches with rock, and some are with the undertaker even some that have been in dark matches as there used some good psychology. He enjoyed the hardcore match with RVD as well.
