Nils Braselmann of www.Sportt.de sent in the following: Sebastian Otten sent this in we would like to inform you about the newest developments concerning the upcoming WWF show at the Colognearena in Cologne, Germany, on 05/01/02. Very interesting announcements have been made over the last couple of days which should not only interest the German fans but your readers as well. Today, the marketing direction of the Colognearena sent word that the advance sale will start on Saturday, March 23rd at 9 a.m. because of the huge interest in tickets by German fans. At first, it was planned to start the ticket sales on March 30. In addition, new ticket categories have been added and the seating chart is out, too. The following price categories are expected to be final: 236,60 EUR ("Golden Seats" at ringside, row 1-3), 102,20 EUR, 66,50 EUR, 55,10 EUR, 49,50 EUR, 46,10 EUR, 43,85 EUR, 38,20 EUR, 28,40 EUR. So far, the WWF hasn't confirmed any matches for the show. But a first list with names was announced just a few days ago. The following wrestlers are going to compete on 05/01/02 in Cologne: Steve Austin, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Kane, Rob Van Dam, Hardy Boys, Lita, Big Show, X-Pac, William Regal, Billy & Chuck, Bradshaw and Jazz. This could be a very interesting list of names considering the split, which is already in the works. Jim Ross said in one of his Ross Reports a few weeks ago, that the roster from RAW would probably be competing in Germany. So this list could, although it is a very big could, indicate which wrestlers will be competing on RAW after the split although the card is subject to change and the WWF itself could change some decisions within the next days. But, as you may know, the WWF will also hold a house show in Wheeling, West Virginia, on 05/01/02. So this could be the event with the Smackdown crew competing in it. http://www.BSWW.de [Back to LOP] [News Archives] [Results] [Columns] [Forums]
