- Kevin Nash was upset at The Rock calling him "Big Daddy Bitch" on Raw and actually went to complain to Vince McMahon and The Rock at Smackdown despite the insult being used simply to put over an angle. Interestingly enough, Nash went to complain after showing up to Smackdown five hours late.
- The WWF was pleasantly surprised by the reactions that Hulk Hogan received from the Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa crowds this week. The WWF did forsee Hogan getting a good reaction but not as strong as he has gotten. Because of that, Hogan's face turn was done quicker.
- The fact that Vince McMahon has focused his attention so much on the nWo reportedly has something to do with Steve Austin's discontent.
- Reportedly, Rey Mysterio Jr. has either already signed a contract with the WWF or will be doing so very soon. The reports stating that he may have already signed stem from the fact that he has cancelled a few upcoming indie bookings.
- Eddie Guerrero is apparently also close to signing with the WWF as he isn't taking any indie bookings past the next month. However, his obligations with New Japan could play a factor in that.

- The WWF has posted an interview with Shawn Michaels. Below is an excerpt of the interview:
WWF.com: There were rumors last year that you were supposed to make your in-ring return to the Federation right around WrestleMania time. Do you want to address those rumors?
Michaels: There’s been rumors and talk that I was going to come back since WrestleMania XIV. There’s talk now that I’m gonna come back. Let’s put it this way – half the time (the rumors)say I’m gonna come back, and half the time, (the rumors) say there are no plans for me. If they keep saying that, eventually one of them has got to be right. (laughs) So they’re pretty consistent. And what are you going to do? I’m not in touch enough to know what all the rumor and innuendo are; all I can say is that they’re just rumor and innuendo. And they call it that. When the day comes that they start calling it “fact,” then maybe I’ll start paying attention.
