The highly exciting,action packed Cajun Wrestling Federation (CWF) "Title Night" show took place on Sunday afternoon,June 27th at the American Legion Hall in Marrero,LA
(just right outside the city of New Orleans).
The show began as the CWF welcomed to the squared circle
the sensational female indepdendent wrestler from
"The Lone Star State" of Texas,
"The Scintillating Latin Sizzler"
CLAUDIA DEL SOLIS.
A match was scheduled to take place at the CWF's "Title Night" show for the CWF Women's Championship as Claudia Del Solis was supposed to take on her arch rival,
the CWF Women's Champion
DIAMOND ICEE.
However due to flight problems,
Diamond Icee was unable to make the CWF "Title Night" show in Marrero,LA to defend her CWF Women's Title;
which for the most part caused somewhat of a dilemna as Claudia Del Solis was so very much looking forward to go up against Diamond Icee and to win back her CWF Women's Championship belt that she lost.....or rather should I say.....that was stolen by Diamond Icee from Claudia Del Solis at a previous CWF show.
Therefore,the owner of the Cajun Wrestling Federation
"The All American Playboy"
known as
THE BOSSMAN
made his way down the aisle en route to the squared circle to rectify that particular situation.
Due to the fact that the one on-one women's encounter match was indeed both a signed and sanctioned title defense,
The BossMan made the decision to strip the CWF Women's Championship from Diamond Icee and award it to Claudia Del Solis via forfeit.
As much as Claudia Del Solis would have loved to have won and to become the CWF Women's Champion once again,
she recanted and she refused to win the CWF Women's Championship under those type of circumstances.
As she told explaining to The BossMan,to the CWF and to the CWF fans in attendance at the CWF "Ttile Night" show,Claudia Del Solis is a female wrestler of honor,valor and integrity and wants the winner of the CWF Women's title to be determined inside the squared circle.
She would love nothing more than for her to have another opportunity to compete in a match inside the ring for the CWF Women's title and to once again become the CWF Women's Champion.
With that being said,The BossMan granted the request of Claudia Del Solis and officially decided that the CWF Women's Championship is declared vacant and a match to crown a new CWF Women's Champion will be taking place at a CWF event in the not too distant future.
MATCH #1:
The 1st match of the CWF "Title Night" was a six man tag team match that featured the team of
IRISH MIKE,
GALAN RAMIREZ
and
ASHTON IDOL.
Their opponents were
TOMMY MARTINELLI
and
KURT HANO.
It originally appeared that this 6 man tag team match was about to be a 3-on-2 Handicap Match.
Seeing that there was a disadvantage,The BossMan came down to the ringside arena and told the team of Irish Mike,Galan Ramirez and Ashton Idol that he has found a suitable tag team partner for Tommy Martinelli and Kurt Hano to even the odds just a little bit in their favor.
The BossMan did not look too long nor hard to find Tommy Martinelli and Kurt Hano a tag team partner and that tag team partner was none other than
"The Scintillating Latin Sizzler"
CLAUDIA DEL SOLIS.
The match pretty much went nip and tuck,back and forth.
In the end,Tommy Martnelli cleaned house upon the opposition and then took down Galan Ramirez with a fisherman suplex.
Martinelli then asked the CWF crowd while pointing at Claudia Del Solis if they want to see him make the tag to her;
unto that which the crowd came unglued as they answered unanimously with euphoric,boisterous and deafening cheers.
Showing incredible gymnastic ability,Claudia Del Solis came in and did a forward handstand flip on top of Galan Ramirez into a bridge combination
scoring the 1-2-3 pinfall for herself,Kurt Hano and Tommy Martinelli.
MATCH #2:
In a one-on-one match-up,
"The 21st Century Playboy"
JASON DUX
(pronounced 'DUKES')
defeated
"The Gangster Of Destruction"
ADRIAN WHISPER
by pinfall as Whisper attempted to pin Dux as he caught him with a top rope flying crossbody.....
.....however Dux reversed it as the momentum caused Dux to roll over on top of Whisper and Dux put both feet on the middle ring ropes unbeknowst to the referee's view to gain the tawdry 1-2-3 victory.
MATCH #3:
The 6'10" 345 pound monstrous behemoth known as
CLARICE
defeated
THE YELLOW HORNET
by pinfall as when Clarice grabbed The Yellow Hornet around his throat with both of his gigantic paws......
.....and drilled him to the mat with a double handed chokeslam pinning him for the 1-2-3 win.
MATCH #4:
In a match for the CWF Tag Team Championship,
brand new CWF Tag Team Champions were crowned as the team of
"High N' Mighty"
JOEY HOMEGROWN and BONEZ
with the owner of the CWF
THE BOSSMAN
at ringside
defeated the former champions
"The London Underground"

by pinfall as Bonez held down the legs of Blake Christopher and Joey Homegrown came down on Christopher with a middle rope springboard moonsault to get the 1-2-3 pin.
MATCH #5:
In a very highly competitive,fiercely fought,back and forth semi main event donnybrook,
the match between
former WWE Developmental talent
MIKE TAYLOR
and
"Mr. 450"
STEVE ANTHONY
ended in a 15 minute time limit draw.
MATCH #6:
In another fiercely fought,highly competitive,back and forth one-on-one main event encounter for the CWF Heavyweight Championship,
the CWF Heavyweight Champion
"The Old School Assassin"
JOHN SAXON
with his manager

at ringside
defeated the challenger,
former Ring Of Honor superstar and former TNA superstar
"The Shootist"
VORDELL WALKER
by disqualification due to outside interference by Mike Taylor.
An all out Pier 6 brawl ensued all as Vordell Walker and Mike Taylor fought John Saxon and Steve Anthony all throughout the American Legion Hall building in which all 4 men had to be restrained by other CWF wrestlers and by members of CWF security as the CWF "Title Night" show from Marrero,LA drew to a close.
