In a very quick paced,back and forth match-up,
"The Invasion"
CRUZE and "Mr. Electricity" JERRY REINER
became the 1st Ever Tag Team Champions of New Heights Wrestling
by defeating the team of
"Hybrid Paramount"
"The Definition Of Technician" CHRIS TIGHE
and
Mr. Syndicated Saturday Night"
B.T.Y. (Better Than You)"
COLBY GODWIN
when Jerry Reiner pinned Chris Tighe
following "Chicken and Biscuits",
the finishing double team move of "The Invasion".
After the match,"Hybrid Paramount" shook their hands and raised their hands in victory showing their respect for "The Invasion".
MATCH #2:
In a back and forth Police Baton On A Pole Match,
"The Human Wrecking Machine"
DUNHAM
was able to get the victory over a bloodied
DAVID PRIME
when David Prime missed a shot of Dunham with the baton and then turned around to get blasted with “The Pounce” by Dunham.
MATCH #3:
OMEGA
with his manager
"The Seventh Deadly Sin"
VAIN
"The Soulless"
at ringside
defeated
"The Archangel"
MICHAEL THRASH
by pinfall as Omega lit up Thrash with his finishing spinning revese DDT called
“The Switch”.
MATCH # 4:
In a match for the NHW Heavyweight Championship,
a brand new champion was crowned as
"Scarface”
TERRY RYKER
emerged victorious as he defeated
the former champion
“The Famous One”
JOE MILO
with his finishing move
The Black Hole Slam.
MATCH # 5:
In a tag team match,
"Supernerd" LANE SMART and
“The Bullet” BOB ARMSTRONG
defeated
"The Original Nightmare" TED ALLEN and MR. FANTASY
by pinfall as “Nightmare” Ted Allen held “Bullet” Bob Armstrong and Mr. Fantasy went for a clothesline.
Bob Armstrong was able to get out of the way,Ted Allen took the blow unexpectedly,
Armstrong took out Fantasy quickly with a judo chop
and pinned “Nightmare” Ted Allen for the 3 count.
MATCH #6:
In the semi main event Triple Threat Match for the NHW Cruiserweight Championship,
the NHW Cruiserweight Champion "Pure"
DOUG PITT
emerged victorious successfully retaining his gold....
albeit by illegal means....
as he defeated the opposing challengers
STREET BANDIT
and
"The Big Deal"
RYAN HOLLAND.
Near the end of the match,NHW referee Frog Lane was knocked unconscious for a moment.
Then Pitt reached into his tights to pull out a pair of brass knuckles to KO Holland.
Pitt covered Holland,hooked the leg and the tights to get the tawdry 1-2-3 win.
MATCH # 7:
In the Main Event 8 Man King Of The Mountain Ladder Match to crown the 1st ever Gulf Coast Wrestling Heavyweight Champion,
"The Prodigy"
D.J. PRINGLE
was the one man to climb up on top of the ladder to attach the belt on a loop/wrung/wire that was hanging up above on the ceiling to win the match.
as he defeated the likes of
Chris Corbin,The California Kid,"Pure" Doug Pitt,Gutter,B-Rad,"B.T.Y." Colby Godwin and Chris Tighe.
With the New Heights Wrestling’s "SUPERCARD '09" show come and gone,
here’s some burning questions that should be answered in the near future......
Who is “The Invasion” going to face for their 1st title defense?
Will "The Prodigy" D.J. Pringle be able to defend his Gulf Coast Championship?
*How long will "Pure" Doug Pitt hold the NHW Cruiserweight title?
He says he’ll beat Joe Milo’s 11 Month reign.
*And can anyone defeat "Scarface" Terry Ryker for the NHW Heavyweight strap?
New Heights Wrestling would like to thank the 150+ fans that came out and all the staff.
We put on a great show,but it was easy to do with such great fans and with such a great staff!
