4 Man Gauntlet Match. First man pinned is the first man to enter the Battle Royal at Apocalypse. The winner of the contest earns number thirty spot and is the last man in.
Drew Adler vs. CJ Awesome
Pretty good match that never really got going. CJ produces a foreign object but drops it outside the ring before he can use it. Referee Kyd Daniels sees it and Awesome feigns injury. Daniels DQ's Adler for using it, giving Awesome the win and awarding Adler the unfortunate honor of being the first entrant into the Rumble.
CJ Awesome vs. Velvet Jones
Velvet gets the win in a quick, very back and forth match. Adler returns to ringside distracting Awesome long enough for Velvet to capitalize with a roll up pin.
Velvet Jones vs. Neil McGuiness
Neil and Velvet trade blows but this match ends when CJ returns to ringside and hits Velvet with the foreign object that was still laying ringside. Neli gets the win and is going into the Rumble as the last man to enter.
The Professor vs. Brian Porter
The Professor has the crowd in the palm of his hand and simply uses his gigantic girth to embarass Porter and get the win. He then uses his interview time to hurl insults at the crowd before leaving.
Dangerous Danny Horne/ Leon McMichaels vs. The AWN Tag Team Champions, Made Men (Isaiah Raines & Jay Smooth)
Danny Horne has the crowd behind him and attacks Jay Smooth like there is no tomorrow. He and McMichaels team well together until Horne gets an errant superkick from McMichaels and gets covered by Raines. Horne and McMichaels trade words and Horne refuses to accept McMichaels apology. The crowd shows their displeasure and Horne snaps on them.
No Remorse (Pain and Rage) vs. The New Age Renegades (Bric Bradley & Steve Stiles)
No Remorse is back but without Logan Creed. Pain has a new partner already lined up and introduces us to Rage, formerly Bubba Rage of Sin City mafia. The former Tag champion took it to The Renegades. No Remorse worked like the veterans they are,keeping their opponent on the mat and in their corner. The former champs stay in this contest and Stiles connects with a huge splash to Rage and gets the win.
Shawn Hunter and Shane Curtis face off in ring one last time before Apocalypse. Hunter ups the ante by putting his recently acquired A.I.W.F. New South Championship gold on the line. Curtis gladly accepts and Hunter briefly attacks but thinks better of it and makes a hasty exit.
AJ Steele and Kennedy Riley vs. B.F.F. (Michael Stevens & Anthony Andrews)
AJ Steele had an eye heavily bandaged and despite the offer from AWN Heavyweight Champion Adorable Anthony Andrews to postpone the match, he was ready for a fight. BFF's gameplan was simple,keep Steele on the apron and concentrate on Riley. The plan worked for most of the contest but after taking a beating, Riley manages to get the hot tag to Steele. AJ cleans house and delivers a Black Hole Slam to each of the BFFs pinning Andrews for the win. After the contest Marv assaults Riley with a chair and attempts to force Riley to eat a can of dog food. Mr. Jones intervenes and makes it offical. There will be a Dog Food Match at Apocalypse between Marvelous Michael Stevens and Kennedy Riley.
