REDEMPTION

Mike Money and the AWN welcomed two wrestling legends, Thunderbolt Patterson and Mr. Wrestling 2 to the Wrestleplex for this blow off show and the duo were recieved warmly by the AWN Faithful. CJ Awesome and Stunt Marshall have beed declared unable to compete and the decision was made to vacate both of the Southern Unified and the Tag Team Championship titles. Unfortunate for them but a huge opprotunity for someone to walk away from this night with AWN gold. Here's what went down:

After months of waiting for his chance, Encore Zac Edwards defeated the returning Leon McMichaels to become the new AWN Unified Heritage Champion. This match was made a hardcore match prior to the bell by General Manager Marvelous Michael Stevens but the stipulation did little to slow down Edwards. McMichales looked sharp in his first match in several months but this was Zac's night. Zac has stated that this win is step one in his ultimate plan to climb back to the top of the AWN and after this hard fought victory, it must be a sweet one. Congratulations to the new champ!!

AWN Tag Team Championship were up for grabs as the teams of No Remorse, Pain and Rage, took on WildChild Joey Kidman and Kennedy Riley. With the fans firmly behind them, WildChild took the fight to the veterans early and had the Wrestleplex rocking. Once in however, Riley was dominated and tossed around like a rag doll. Pain and Rage were methodical in their approach and kept Riley on their side of the ring while they administered a sever beatdown. Riley managed to make a tag but it looked as if WildChild would be unable to swing the momentum back to his teams favor. Pain hit a huge sit down powerbomb that bounced Referee Kyd Daniel a foot off the canvas and appeared to have the victory all sewn up for No Remorse when two masked men hit the ring. The masked men assaulted both teams for several minutes and were finally hearded out of the ring by security. The match was declared a no contest and the tag titles remain vacated.

Neal McGuiness vs Mystery Opponent
After weeks of anticipation, Mike Money's mystery opponent for Neal was finally going to be revealed. Neal didn't seem concerend but his demeanor quickly changed as Money announced that his opponent would be Mr. USA Officer Chris Jacobs. There was nothing too flashy but this turned into a showcase for Jacobs, who showed off a variety of holds that basically kept Neal on his back and looking for a way out of the ring. The crowd was spilt cheering for Jacobs and really giving the business to Neal who was totally unprepared for Jacobs' attack. After all the trash talk and USA bashing, Neal decides to take the low road and simply quit the match. Mike Money was livid and told Neal that at the next show there was gonna be a rematch. This time however, Neal would not be able to run because it was gonna be a LUMBERJACK MATCH.

Loser Leave Town Match
The feud between Steven Stiles and Bric Bradley finally came to an end after one final hard fought contest. This was a straight up wrestling match and each man made a case for why he should remain in the AWN by just unloading on one another. After making a cover and a three count from the ref, Stiles appeared to be the victor. His celebration was short lived and Referee Kyd Daniel reversed his decision due to Bradley's hand being on the ropes. Before Stiels could protest, Bradley hoisted him up for the GTS and scored the pinfall. With the loss, Steve Stiles is no longer able to compete in the AWN. We all wish you the best Stiles and hopefully you will be able to return one day in the future.

The A.I.W.F. New South Championship was up for grabs in a Lights Out match, unsanctioned by the AWN.
Shawn Hunter and Velvet Jones finally had their chance to settle this long simmering feud and this match broke down before the bell even rang and the fans got the fight the were promised. Make no mistake, these two really don't care for each other and used the entire Wrestleplex to show it. My official count was three steel chairs destroyed in this match. Velvet introduced Head of Security Andrew Harris to the cold steel of the front door as he tried to keep the fans away from the action. Shawn Hunter got hip tossed into and took out an entire section of ringside seats and still somehow managed to get back in the ring to continue the fight. Velvet fought really hard and hit Hunter with everything but the kitchen sink but this night belonged to Shawn Hunter. Hunter connects with a huge Black Hole Slam on a chair in the middle of the ring and makes the cover to retain his title. Trust me when I say this, this feud is far from over.

A lot was at stake as BFF took on the team of Drew Adler and Shane Curtis. If Adler and Curtis won, Marv lost his General Manager title, if they lost, Adler lost his title shot at Halloween Hell 7. Having obviously enjoyed being in control of the goings on of the AWN for the last few months, Marv and Andrews were determined not to let this one slip away and pullled out all the stops to do so. Adler is riding a huge wave of momentum into Halloween Hell and Curtis has been foaming at the mouth for a shot at Marv ever since he got screwed out of the AWN Heavyweight Championship. As to be expected this was a great match and the crowd was very vocal and involved the entire time. When Adler scored a pinfall on Stevens with a huge roll up, the place came unglued. As Stevens and Andrews looked at each other dumbfounded, Ben Masters announced that a new General Manager had already been lined up. Some familar music drops and Mr. Jones made his way to the ring. His first order of business was to congratulate Adler and Curtis. Adler still number one contender and still has his title shot. As far as Curtis goes, he also has a match set for Halloween Hell. His opponent, you guessed it, Marvelous Michaels Stevens. Halloween Hell is starting to take shape and is the biggest show of the year, DON'T MISS IT!!!
