10/05/2012 ADRENALINE

AWN Heritage Champion Encore Zac Edwards continued to impress as he quickly defeated Dangerous Danny Horne in a non-title contest. True to form, Horne spent a lot of time complaing to the ref in this one and his lack of focus cost him. After the match another "He Will Rise" video was played for the crowd and one can only assume that whoever "HE"is will answer the open challenge that Edwards has put on the table for Halloween Hell 7.

The team of IamStorm and Iam Fatality, Totally Insane returned to the Wrestleplex and ran right into WildChild and Kennedy Riley. Kidman started and even though he laughed at the antics of his opponents, it didn't keep him from taking control in the early going. After dominating the two clowns for several minutes, Kidman tagged in Riley and Totally Insane got back into the match. The two took turns pounding on Ragdoll Riley but seemed too worried about amusing each other to maintain any kind of focus and once Kidman got back in he pretty much buttoned these two up. Always a team player, Kidman allows Riley a chance to shine. After connecting with a 619, or in Riley's case, a 478, he then goes to the top turnbuckle and delivers one of the worst looking splashes, EVER, that somehow manages to score the pinfall for Kidman and Riley. As soon as the bell rang the two masked men who assaulted them at Redemption hit the ring for another beatdown. After assaulting Kidman and Riley for what seemed like an eternity, AWN Security hit the ring to try and regain order but the two masked men would have none of it and attacked all EIGHT of them as well. After several minutes, security finally manages to get them out of the ring but pays the price on the outside when the duo attack everyone in sight. As they lay there being assaulted, Kidman and Riley must have been thinking the same thing we all were, just how many securtiy guards does it take to stop a brawl in the AWN Wrestleplex? The world may never know.

In his AWN debut, Gringo Pantera came out and cut a brief promo about how bad he was gonna beat The Beast Shane Curtis, Big Mistake! Curtis looked sharp and made quick work of Pantera with the newly reinstated judo choke, much to the delight of the fans who were calling for it. After the match, Curtis gets on the mic and sends a message to his opponent at Halloween Hell, Marvelous Michael Stevens, by locking the choke on Pantera once again before leaving.

Despite being behind nearly the contest, Velvet Jones defeats Bric Bradley and the pin he asks that his cousin, AWN General Manager Mr. Jones join him in the ring. Velvet says that his loss to Shawn Hunter last month at Redemption has been tough to deal with and he wants a rematch at Halloween Hell. He asks GM Jones to make it a Last Man Standing match!! Jones informs Velvet that he has already spoken to Hunter and though Hunter has accepted the challenge, his A.I.W.F. New South Title will not be on the line. Velvet is beside himself and demands that Jones do something about this development and rallies the fans behind him. Jones decides that at the October 19th show, it will be Shawn Hunter vs Velvet Jones. If Velvet gets the win, the A.I.W.F. title will be on the line for their match at Halloween Hell.

The Lumberjack Match between Neal McGuiness and Mr. USA Chris Jacobs was the most anticipated match of the evening and did not disappoint. With no where to run, Neal had no choice but to finally back up all his Anti-America trash talk and actually had Jacobs in trouble early and often. Jacobs manages to find his stride and dumped Neal to the outside to let the lumberjacks get a few shots in. Not to be outdone Neal returned the favor on the other side and both decided it was best to keep this fight between the ropes. Neal simply out brawled Jacobs in this match and it seemed to take Jacobs by surprise as he struggled to substain any kind of offense of his own. With AWN CEO Mike Money leading the charge, the crowd began to chant of USA USA and seemed to will Jacobs back into the match late and as he built momentum, the referee got in the way and was laid out in the corner. This was the opprotunity Neal was looking for. He gets the flag that Jacobs brought to ringside and delivers a shot to the stomach and one to the head. He then makes the cover as the ref comes to his senses and steals himself a win over Mr. USA. Jacobs is livid and challenges Neal to a flag vs flag match at Halloween Hell. After several minutes of deliberation, Neal accepts and the match is set.

Marvelous Michaels Stevens dedicated this match to his BFF AWN Heavyweight Champion Adorable Anthony Andrews and proceeded to dismantle Drew Adler for the next several minutes. Once Adler resumed control of the match, however, Stevens bailed and a video was played for Adler and the crowd. It was a message to Adler from Adorable Anthony Andrews. He is outside the home of Adler's brother and when the young man comes out he is assaulted by the champ. Adler was stunned as he watched Andrews lawn dart his brother into the side of his home and ram him into the side of his car. Adler forgets the match and runs to the back in pursuit of Stevens. After several minutes the match is declared a no contest and thrown out.
