CHIKARA is making just one stop in NC this year - originally planned for Burlington, we are now headed for Gibsonville (just a few minutes up the road) on Sunday afternoon, October 7th! All your favorite CHIKARA stars will be there when we play The New Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium at 4:00 p.m. Dont forget - all kids 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult! Here's what we have in store so far for you at "Zodiac Crimes":
1) A Mega Main Event!
-The Batiri (Obariyon, Kodama) and Ophidian attempted every dirty trick in the book to prevent The Spectral Envoy (Ultramantis Black, Hallowicked, and Frightmare) from winning King of Trios 2012 - what will Delirious' minions pull out of their sleeve when these teams explode on October 7th?
2) Singles Showdown!
-Wrestle Factory head trainer Mike Quackenbush has been merciless in taking out the members of GEKIDO that pose a threat to the men and women he's trained. First it was 17, then combatANT - will The Shard be the next to taste his cold recipe for justice?
3) One on One!
-Kobald dropped a "Demon's Toilet" on Gran Akuma this year at King of Trios 2012 - can Akuma avenge his loss in singles action?
4) Tag Team Warfare!
-Both teams are looking to gain pivotal points toward the coveted Campeonatos de Parejas. Who will prevail at "Zodiac Crimes," The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield & "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti) or The Bravado Brothers (Lancelot Bravado & Harlem Bravado)?
5) A Rivarly Renewed!
-The story of The Colony and F.I.S.T. dates back years in CHIKARA lore, but the players have changed - as this match exemplifies! Added to The Colony by Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur, assailANT now joins Fire Ant and Green Ant against Icarus, Chuck Taylor and reluctant "waterboy" Sugar Dunkerton!
6) First Time Ever!
-Amber O'Neal returns to CHIKARA after 10+ years to tackle the fast-rising rookie and intergalactic luchadora, Saturyne!
