GWE crowned a NEW Southern Cross Champion with Sebastian Maximus winning the Junior Heavyweight Tournament. SebMax firstly survived the unpredictable Kobra Jones earning his way into the Four-Way Final. Other action in the first round included the return of Linx Lewis Junior after over a year's absence, not missing a beat but removing his own mask. Junior and David Hockley battles in a high flying spectacular. David Hockley was accompanied by Johnny St Michael, and was announced as members of the Junior Assassin Squad. Johnny's relationship to the other St Michael's is still to be determined.
Joel Bateman returned to face debutante Spawn Phoenix. Spawn proved he was a true powerhouse of the ring however Joel Bateman showed brains are superior to brawn. Renegade appeared and faced the returning Jonathan Link. Link has been making an impact elsewhere for the past 18 months but he came back in fine form. Renegade may have lost the flex off but he won the day.
Niki Nitro battled Blair Alexis in one of her last dates before returning to the US. Blair and Niki's match was one of the most ruthless women's matches Queensland has seen with the war spilling over into Lord Jonathan Farrar's match with Thomas Hockley. Hockley, also revealed to be a member of the Junior Assassin Squad, surprised everyone buy taking Lord Farrar to his limits, but it wasn't enough to take down the more experienced competitor.
With the Fatal Four-way spilling out onto the Green's and heading into the bar area, November Nitro left the crowd spellbound and excited as Sebnastian Maximus won his first major title and partied into the early hours of the morning.
