Writer's Note Part Deux: Also, go ahead and check out the solo column debut by my recent collaborator, Brie, as she takes a look at the current title picture in SHIMMER and prepares for yet another collabo with me. Read it at the following link..
Now, it's time for the Lords Of Podcast Roundtable's Extreme Rules prediction episode. It's a relatively short episode, with only Kyle and De joining me to make our picks of what should be a very interesting show, with matches that could go either way damn near from top-to-bottom. Here you go..
Finally, people have been waiting to see the final result of Hustle Madness this year, and while I apologize for the delay in getting the final result to you, it's finally time to crown a winner. Let's take a look at the final result..
I expected this to be incredibly close, and that's exactly what it was, for the entire (extended) voting period. I actually saw a lot of angry responses from people, upset that I was forcing them to choose between Flair and Foley. It seems like a lot of you rank these two as #1 and #2 on your own personal lists, in whatever order.
Personally, I was somewhat torn here. I've said on numerous occasions that Mick Foley is my personal choice for the best "talker" in the history of wrestling, but I've also said on numerous occasions that Ric Flair is my favorite wrestler of all-time. In the end, though, the vote was on you, not me, and you have made your opinion known.
Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of Hustle Madness in 2012.. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
Thank you to each and every person that voted, that gave any sort of feedback, and even helped me put the brackets together. You folks are awesome
